Always impressed me
You never let life get the best of you…
You did what you had to do…
I remember one day you pulled me aside and demanded my best…. wait. . What?…. was this a test…..
I thought just going through the motions would get me by…
YOU ALWAYS SAID…
There’s no such thing as TRY… You need to put in your all son, in everything you do…
That goes for Soccer, art, and even school!
Occasionally I find myself thinking about the times spent near the end… he was more than father, he was more than a mentor, he was my friend!
