It is two-thousand-ten
I'd tell all my friends.
Yet they refused to comprehend.
"Change is among us, people
Both women and men,
Shall stand together."
So
Do you not know?
There is no longer one gender.
We used to call all man in primitive times.
It is two-thousand-ten
I'd say time and again.
Yet they did not listen.
"Change is among us, people
Of all names and colors
Shall stand together."
And
Are you aware
That there is no longer one accepted race?
In times before now, our skin was our title.
Pass it ten years,
Ringing fills our ears.
People of all colors, and gender
Stand equal among us.
It is two thousand twenty
I'd told my friends plenty.
"There is not but two genders
And all shall be equal.
These people are changing,
And it is their free will.
Trans and enby will have hearts that are filled."
So
Do you not know?
That there is not just two genders
There is a third, and many more.
Non-binary people are some of the best
In this world.
And there are people that aren't cis
Not born the same gender that they are
Or are to become.
And they are all accepted,
And shall not keep their heads hung.
It is two-thousand-twenty
I said to many,
Yet they refused to hear.
"There are so many people
Gay, lesbian, and queer.
They shall be accepted
We shall see change.
Though it may take time,
We will fix our judgemental brains."
Have I not told you?
We are all equal.
We are all strong.
We should all be accepted
And at least try to get along.
You and I,
We are one in the same.
Both human, both strong,
We both share a weight.
We all have our problems
We all have our goals,
But I hope one day
That we can all feel whole
We should accept everyone for who they are
On the inside.
We should respect everyone for who they are
On the outside.
To Cisgener, Transgender, Genderqueer, Genderfluid, Non-binary, Men, Women, Lesbian, Bisexual, Homosexual, Heterosexual, Gay, Queer, Intersex, Pansexual, and all of the people who reign the amazing + over their head, You are ALL accepted, loved, wanted, and needed. We will one day, be equal. Even if it takes another ten years.
See you in 2030,
A pansexual equalist,
