Without this fatigue in my arms, water would be sought with tangled passion
Vines twisted within sickened ribcages
Building and growing, as if seeking
The spring that births the rain
Is it any suprise
We escape into our bones
Hiding from the clawing motions, the desperation of divinity
Eyelids as our shields
