'A beautiful African Sunset
I stood watching at Dusk
Thousands of Flamingos going home
Crossing the Shadows of the evening Sun
Beautiful scenic view
Their sounds echoing thru the evening Sky
Shades of Pink and Black Birds
Squealing away as if warning that Darkness prevails
Mesmerising Sunset
Peace and Tranquillity follows as the Sun goes down
I stand watching until all is so quiet
Not even the chirping of the Crickets
In a distance l hear a Hyena laughing
A sudden roar of a Lion
Scaring my wits
I would better sit in my Land Rover or else am prey
Looming darkness
Whispers of Trees l hear...
My Flash lights leading the way along the road
Eyes shining in the dark like Moon beams
Animals gazing as l drive along
It's getting too late
