I have my crippled friend,
We have been friends for a decade now,
We have been always happy in our life though of ups and downs,
Something strange like it was God's plan unites us,
That is we both share the same life experiences,
We both can't see our moms so we cook together,
We both don't have near brethren so we live together,
We both have the same vision so we plan together,
We are all poor so we help each other.
With my friend we have done a lot to boost our income,
We have done many pet businesses but it wasn't our wish,
We planned to own our own large shop,
But we failed as we had no enough money.
Few weeks ago I travelled to another town,
I went to greet my relatives,
But still I had nothing in my pockets,
There was a day I had to go for outing,
My aunty gave me money for buying bundle,
I was very happy that I can communicate with my friend,
As I was walking beside a tarmac road I met an old woman,
She told me "son I have nothing at home with my grandchildren help me please",
Without hesitation I gave her all the money.
Today we own a large shop with my friend,
Everyone who knew us don't believe,
We also don't believe as well,
It's purely a miracle in our life,
We see blessings from day to day,
I forgot about what happened about the old woman,
But today I have remembered,
Actually all I see is the blessing from an old woman I'm sure.
