Humanity acts like it doesn't care
Look at the ghosts of our loved ones
In a matter of seconds no longer there
In my room
I can feel something in the darkness
prowling
I touch a candle to light
I can hear it growling
Welcome to our darkest days
we don't want to accept
Welcome to a changed world
Welcome to its depths
May hope be with us
When the sun takes its last breathe
