A Coach In The Corner

Poet: Tosin Ayodeji.
Round one is almost over,
But your mouth is already swollen,
Your opponent is now smiling
Rejoicing that his victory is sure,
You are already on the flow....
6! 7! 8!
The referee counts dropped!
Just then,
You summoned some strength
Managed standing but still staggering😟😟😭😭
Blood dripping....
After several rounds of defeat,
Then behold!
You saw your coach,
Right there in the corner,
Stand up!!!
Stand up!!!
Be strong!!!
It's not over yet!!!
You can make it!!!
The coach screamed out to you...
You, though tired and worn out,
Stood to your feet💪🏽💪🏽
And faced your opponent,
Giving him blows of the ancient fighters
Pulling him down!!!
Then you heard a voice,
"Now you see, I told you right? Face him and be strong, then you will be victorious"
Who is your own coach
Or what is your opponent?
The rounds are not over
Remember!
He who laugh last
Laugh best.
It's your coach speaking from the corner.
