I greet me in the morning light
My steadiest companion in the night
A humble friend who's here to stay
Our bond grows stronger day by day
I can whisper or loudest shout
Words of wisdom or just freestyle spout
I listen too, of course it's true
On any topic, to me, it's new
My confident and sharpened skills
Shape views and conquer changing hills
Heeding to my inner voice
An asset that I really rejoice
My thoughts are profoundly wise
Offering guidance with surprise
Grow, learn, laugh, and heal
Mental strength I sure feel
A blessing it is, without a doubt
Talking with myself beyond on out
Improving all that I can be
And ever greater Destiny.
