A cry from hell

Never settle for less I was told
And now my soul is in Distress
As the bittter truth unfolds.
Am I a sinner? Yes of course.
Unlike Judas, I sold jesus
For diamonds and gold.
Foolish and blind I was,
I kept on hanging up the call
Every single time you called.
The last time I was told to repent,
I rolled my eyes in descent,
I'm so ashamed for the things I did oh lord.
I turned my back on you countless of times
Yet your love and mercy you showed.
Am no different to those who crucified you,
I too layed my life to the devil to hold.
I let him slip me away from you
As I bought each and every lie he sold.
I danced and drunk with the devil
And for that I became a toy that he controlled
So going against you became a school
and I blindly enrolled.
Never settle for less was our motto
And the interpretation was the biggest lie
that I was told.
I did a lot of regretful deeds,
You are the one I should have extolled
For I know now Heaven would have been my
home,
If only In your presence was the place
I strolled.
