Sun shines brightly
upon my skin.
It burns, but warms the cold within.
Being outside,
makes me feel alive.
Helps me find reason,
to my life.
Let go of the worries,
pain from down deep.
As I splash in the pool, relief from the heat.
Then I watch the sun
it's evening retreat.
Cool night comes,
its soft, calm breeze.
My eyes grow heavy,
into bed I climb.
Sweet dreams, playful scenes,
fill my slumbering mind.
And I sleep,
this night,
in Peace.
