M

a dieing break

In a world so cold,
Where love can turn to mold,
I feel my heart start to break,
Slowly fading, I can't take.
Every beat now feels so heavy,
Each breath, a burden to carry,
Days blend into a shaded gray,
Life falls apart in a slow decay.
The tears never stop falling,
My mind constantly recalling,
The memories that we shared,
The love that we had once bared.
But now that love is gone,
Just like the fading of a song,
Leaving me with an empty space,
And a broken heart to embrace.
My soul is slipping away,
As I slowly fade to gray,
Leaving just a wilted flower,
Dying from a heartbreak's power.
So I'll close my eyes,
And say my final goodbyes,
As the pain inside me subsides,
And my heartbreak finally dies.
