'A Discourse On Ethics'

[Ethics] can be defined as a philosophical understanding of a moral code..
..Which affects a person's intention & decision-making, lo & behold:..
[Society] - "a club formed for a particular purpose".
So, what is society to me, if I haven't taken an oath, bowed down, signed a contract or made a deal to serve it?
I walk around with a sword, my heart is the sheath.
I don't sharpen it all the time, but muscle-memory extends in my speech.
And with this weapon, I discern thought & intention.
I used to be a pushover & impressionable until lessons became questions.
I'm going to explain society, from an experience-based point of view..
And the ethics I've selected, this may or may not point to you.
Everyone's experience is uniquely different.
My childhood wasn't the best or the worst, my gift felt like a curse, but I kept with it.
Did I choose to become a writer or did writing choose me?
Did I go against the tide, or did I ride the wave profusely?
Depends on the side of the coin your on.
Mines landed upside down, I could've drowned, until a certain name I called upon.
Is the flow of the universe, same as the flow of society?
Are you programming or are you programmed? When do you unplug? The literary bolt of my lightning streaks.
If my heart didn't break, it could not expand or grow.
If the love is not even among union, it cannot glow.
To love properly, one must know..
..When to hold on & when to let go.
To understand ethics & society, this just the beginning..
My take on these topics is that, where society ends, the universe begins & we're in the "9th Inning".
