A dreamy encounter...
The evening knocked
on my window today,
Not in a loud, dramatic way,
But rather quiet and shy,
As if scared to reveal its presence,
But here I was,
already hoping I'd find it,
As i listened to it's echoes
softly chanting my name,
I ran to the window,
hovering over the pane,
And there it was, the sky sang to me,
A rainy encounter with a storm held in,
I closed my eyes and
hummed back the rhymes,
Singing my heart out in a lullaby,
As i traced the sky,
for my long lost friends,
I found one hiding closer to them,
As i held my gaze
as hard as I could,
Only then i realized
it was a drop shining through,
I was stunned for a while,
as I watched up the sky,
Thinking to myself,
what a beautiful surprise,
The rain sent a breeze
just to tell me that its true,
We created a star,
darling... Just for you...
