A girl came over the park
Approaching the children play
She smiled with happy mark
Joining them as her face glay
Her eyes as black as ebony
As black as her hair do
Red roses in her cheeks
Wonder, why don't butterflies seek?
Her merry smile perfectly plain
Showed no hidden pain
My heart skipped for her image
Legs stepped front as free from a cage
She ran laughing as children chase
DOOM- my eyes wide
They crowded to the mourning site
Blood disabled her shining blaze
Road sank by the hot red ink
Tears rolled seeing her eyes with no blink
Won't she lift her wings again?
Can't I bargain? -with the angel, who took her soul
I knelt. I wept
For the pretty soul just left
Her body laid on the ground
Half smile still found__
