She lost one great piece of her mind.
There is nothing left to shine.
Sitting there in the dark of the night.
Nothing will ever be alright.
She clenches her fists with rage.
She is growing tired with age.
If somebody just could of helped her get back on her feet.
This tired syndrome wouldn't of been played on repeat.
She screams, but nobody listened to her plea.
It's just the outrage of you and me.
She bargained her heart for one more night of sanity.
She doesn't care if this becomes her profanity.
The voices get stronger and pounds on her brain.
Is she going crazy, or still is she sane.
The footsteps become louder, and her dignity falls deep.
Is she still awake or did she finally sleep.
Her family never understood why she left them alone.
Her fierceness became cold, but her strength has grown.
Where did she find her inner self
In the darkness, full of doubt.
She whispers lightly, then a shout.
What is this girl's story all about.
As a child she was kept secret, her story came out.
She lived in isolation, with no doubt.
Her mama, locked her up in a cage.
She was full of anger and full of rage.
Her speech was unbearable.
The cage was locked up in the stables.
She was treat like an animal that was enable.
She couldn't walk properly, she needed a cane.
Her head was hit many times, they thought she was insane.
Growing up without any parental guidance, she raised herself.
Not knowing very much, she lived in doubt.
Growing from a child to a teen, locked up, in need of greed.
There was so much more that this girl did need.
She was poked at and picked at until she did bleed.
There was so much more that this girl did need.
Never learning anything more then what she had known.
Boy, did this girl had grew from a child to a woman, she had grown.
Mindless, with no thoughts of her own.
Clueless, she was and sadness around her because she was alone.
All her life she circled around the darkness and became so bold.
In a stable all her life, became so cold.
She nourished on insects and whatever mice that she can find.
Her story goes on but so much was left behind.
Her strength had lost its glory to weakness from her mind.
No songs of inspiration, she'll never shine.
Her sight had lost it's vision, she will grow old and blind.
Her bones have weakened, this had happened every time.
She lost her glory, no time to shine.
She lived like this her whole 35 years.
she cried, to many tears.
Nobody rescued her, she found her own way out.
With pale skin and bones, without a doubt.
Her mother left her there to rot away.
Her scaley skin, and shortened stature, she did lay.
But some how she made it out.
This was what her story was about.
Now she sits in her rocking chair.
At 80 years old she made it there.
Still weak and whitened hair.
She never had a life, that was not fair.
Nobody ever did care, she sits in that same rocking chair.
In her own world, she stares.
She grew from a child, to a teen, a woman, now at 80.
She still hears those voices, lately.
Her life she was robbed.
in her own world, she sobbed.
A girl that grew up so fast.
A girl with a deep, dark past.
