A Glimpse of A Star
What A time for wishes granted, you are
When a struggler is lost in deep waters, dark,
His head down into the gallows,
Right there, upon a wandering star,
A lost soul sees a glimmer of a way on forward
A refraction, a riddle,
A life line - midnight's boldest answer,
And when the tease finally prods his weary head up heaven's height
He sees the light that shown upon him from his own Happily Ever Here-After
And Her eyes certainly do beam bright...
As if showing me my own world that ever meant more to me as such
And a Smile as delightful as a the crown around daylight's sun
It is then, a reminder of a quote etched in claw marks around mine neck:
"Your Heart would guide your way home"
And so this weary wanderer begets,
That if the other side of the world is his destination again and thensome,
All for the better angle to better see his angel,
Then the wind can lift these sails once again,
And a heart's hull full of hope
Can carry this wish upon a star to it's granter
... May her wings watch over me
Until the time comes I can properly thank her...
From a wanderer, to his wonder
