What a great cat you are
Above all by so very far
So mellow and so calm
As you lay on the lawn
Affectionate and loving
When you need your rubbing
A scratch there on your head
Then some lap time before bed
Curled up on your green chair
You sleep so lovely as I stare
It's not common , a cat like you
I've known a couple or a few
You go out on your journeys
But return before I get worried
Gone all day and then all night
Around seven am back at daylight
A wonderful cat you will always be
And I'm sure many people will agree
