I had an amazing cat years ago
I named him Korn
He was named after the music group
One of my favourite bands at the time
Korn was a very mellow and calm cat
Korn was very large and had long fluffy fur
He loved it when I ordered pizza
He enjoyed both green and black olives
They were his favourite
I had an old rolled up sock filled with catnip
It layed in the windowsill until he wanted it
He spent a lot of time out on the balcony
He caught a bird in mid flight once
But luckily he didn't hang on
It landed on the cement and then flew away
He was very comfortable with my dog
They chased each other and jumped around
The dog and the cat were best friends
I used to throw paper airplanes for Korn
He would jump in the air to catch them
We had to move after a little while
He had a giant yard to run with the dog now
Him and the dog would walk outside together
But sadly Korn had ingested antifreeze
He was very sick the next day
Before I knew he had passed
I said my goodbyes and buried him
He was one of the best cats I ever knew
I miss him greatly and dearly very much
Wherever he is now I pray he is happy
