Roaming the summit,
A grim archer from the woods
Confessed callously.
To something way beyond his grasp...
A darkened heart!
An altered state of mind,
Forcefully imposed onto another!
Completely oblivious of his prior undoing...
Staged halfway uphill,
Sniffing dogs waited patiently,
Preparing for their ride home!
Ego fairly dejected now,
Metal apparatus placed on his wrists.
Diesel trucks are waiting uphill,
Set to take him to his new life!
Noodles will become his go-to meal.
In a room filled with criminals,
And metal bars!
Oh, how quickly his life changed!
Setting his future in motion...
But regaining his former status
Proves to be a difficult undertaking.
As the seconds,
Minutes,
Days went by...
This moment, too shall end...
And quickly became ideal!
Unanimously, he was freed!

Competently returning home,
This moment feeling unusually content!
Back where he belonged,
Living and learning...
