There once was a prince who left his kingdom behind
To wage a war with his great enemy
But he could not wield a sword to save his own dear life
For a knight he was not trained to be
So after a many battles of heart had been lost
The prince left his helm at his feet
In a land far away, there was no turning back
And a war from which he could not retreat
The enemy grew stronger, his forces were mad
The light had all but faded away
Just then, by a slight of hand, the prince regained his strength
His love was in the souls of his feet.
With a sword and shield, he could not bare might
But with good news, he could gather an army.
So the prince took his sword to the oldest highrise
And carved in a new history.
It cost him nothing but the devil over time
For a world without misery.
But his enemy laughed, he was watching the whole time
Waiting for a soon victory.
Down the ascend, a trap had been laid.
For a prince to his utter dismay
But what they'd not known nor could see without faith
Was not just a prince, but a true knight in his place
With a swing of the sword and a shield in right place
The enemy hoard soon had lost face
The devil over time was thing of folk lore
And the enemy could not keep with the pace
The enemy was thy self that defamed the true crown
And the knight was the will deep inside
And when thy self had fallen to the ground,
It was an ally from the shadows that came into the light.
The kingdom was intact. The lovers wear no masks.
A happy ending does not always have a dark side.
To happily new beginnings.
