A heart made of gold
Somewhere lost in time
I found myself walking beside him,
who I never knew,
he was holding my hands,
and was facing the other side
earnestly searching for something
that I never knew.
He then turned to me with a smile
expressing the joy of finding
what he wanted,
but I felt a unfathomable feeling
that I never knew.
He started digging the soil
and I stood with perplexity,
soon he took a luxurious box
and handed it to me,
I opened it only to discover
a heart made of gold,
I looked at his eyes
which had tear in it
his face carried an emotion
that I never knew.
He then said to me
" My heart turned gold
when I looked at you,
with love hold it in your hands
keep it inside the vacantness in me
soon it would beat in joy
of being loved by you."
I then inserted his heart,
I kept my hands to feel his heartbeat,
soon it started beating beautifully
making me smile with delight
of finding a love that I never knew.
