My embarrassing moment was when I found myself blank
like I had done some prank.
Oh, really, I was wrong
and this was known
but like a latent seed I paid no heed.
I was trying to hide
everything at one side.
The silence prevailed in me.
When I asked her why there was, she?
She laughed with glee.
She did not utter
but only muttered.
Tears fell from my eyes
like the rain falling from sky.
I remain wry.
No one was there for me to fight.
Then I saw a ray of light.
It was a familiar voice,
that left me with no choice.
"Just be bold", that's all she told.
It was really a game of rummy
and now I know she was none other than my mummy.
When there was no one in my favor
she landed me like a savor.
I was accompanied and she was pacified.
