Like the prodigal son, I return to you, Father, with a heart heavy with shame. I've soiled myself in the mud once more. I've dipped my hands in the forbidden, crossed the boundaries you set for me, and tasted the fruit I was told to avoid.
I know I've lost the right to be called your child. I've fallen short of your expectations, and I'm not worthy of your love. Yet, I have nowhere else to turn, no other place to call home.
Father, I'm coming back to you, not because I deserve it, but because you are my home. You are the one who has always welcomed me with open arms. Please, Father, accept me once more. I promise to make amends and start anew.
