In the dim light of half past eight,
Alone in my room, I sit and contemplate,
Staring at the ceiling, lost in thought,
Reflecting on battles fought and battles sought.
As shadows dance upon the walls,
I delve deeper into life's thralls.
The twists and turns, the highs and lows,
Each chapter written, the story grows.
I ponder the distance I've journeyed so far,
The hurdles, the trials, like distant stars.
Each predicament faced, a lesson learned,
Yet still, the fire within me burned.
In whispered prayers, I converse with fate,
Seeking guidance in this uncertain state.
"How many more trials?" I dare to ask,
Yearning for clarity in this daunting task.
"Just give me a figure," I plea,
And I'll face them all, resolute and free.
For I've battled before, and I'll do so again,
With courage in my heart, and faith as my friend.
I'll march into the fray for the ones held dear,
With a steadfast resolve, casting aside fear.
And in the end, I'll cherish what's won,
For love's worth fighting for, when all's said and done.
In the quiet stillness of the night,
I find solace in my inner light.
For though the path ahead may be unclear,
I'll press on with hope, knowing victory is near.
Thanks to Shawn Tunha my friend.
