Dear children,
so sweet and kind.
I have some things to tell you
from since the first day you became mine.
It was love at first sight.
Mommy's face lit up like stars so bright.
I am not perfect,
but I want to be the best mother you've ever wished for.
Watching you grow is everything.
I would never trade you for anything.
But life here is where I will not always belong.
I may leave you someday.
But you must stay strong.
Remember everything that mama thought you.
And cherish the love that mama brought you.
You live in a world that is kind.
But people in this world can be cruel sometimes.
Learn to forgive and also forget.
Move on from horrible past,
children, quit living a life full of regrets.
Be kind, be generous,
Even though their mean.
At least your heart within would be something clean.
Forgive them,
Some of them knows not what they are doing.
Treat them,
just as how you would like to be treated.
Dear children,
Everyday I pray.
Pray that I stay upon this earth so long,
to live to see you grow,
I must stay strong.
Unlike my mother,
who left me so young.
