You braved the world alone and fought shadows unknown
They cajoled and promised you wouldnt make it
All that saw you said, you were too fragile to bend and blend
Little believed In the power of your might but along the way a twist of fate happened
The mirror was saying something else when you stood in the hour of confirmation
Little troubles of breathing and speaking your mind were your life foes
Am happy to know that it all became history
Looking back, I smile at the fact that you didn't give up even when the pressure was hard to bear
I knew of the times you beat yourself for one reason or another but today it all made sense
Every pull and push counted to the unique being you became
Every pain and hate made you stronger than i could ever be
The ones that left today are ashamed of not seeing beyond
But the greatest of all was how you took your flaws alongside the perfection,
It became the scare that pulled you towards the light
the fire that purified and purged you of all impurities
Now you have become treasure others could only wish for
The light every soul seeks to keep and a friend everyone wouldn't dare hide cause you became a bright star in the dark lone sky. Thank you for making it thus far!!!!
