How do I even begin?
'Cause deep in me, am convinced that you already know what am going to say and more.
But still I have a million and one things I would like to say to you;
Like how am grateful for the gift of breathe and that of salvation through your son, Jesus
Like how am grateful for your ever-abiding presence and your tender mercies
Like how am grateful for yesterday and hopeful for tomorrow
And how am certain that you've got my back even when am undeserving of your love
And even though things might not always be rosy or clear to me, especially when it comes to your expectations of me
I would constantly and consciously ensure that I make you more than just a spectator in my daily affairs
I am certain that without your grace, your favor and your loving kindness, I can only do so little
So I humbly ask that you grant me all of these so I can accomplish the things that seem so unimaginable even to me
Thank you for always being faithful to me
And a bigger thank you for just being the God that you are
Love from a girl who longs to know you more
