away from the norm
Arrive at my daughter's
A greeting so warm
Excited Grandkids
Creeping downstairs
Mum got her hug
So now they want there's
The dogs want there turn
Scatty young Jack
Charlie's gone blind now
So he waits at the back
Jack went quite crazy
As soon as he saw me
Charlie just heard me
But he knew it was me
The weather was bad
So we couldn't go out
But all in the garden
For some mucking about
The family has grown
To 4 kids today
A couple of dogs
One more on the way
I'm back home now
And miss them a lot
So I open the fridge
See what I've got
I look through the photos
A scotch in my glass
Just a few days away
