They stare with disbelief,

Is for help, please.

I'm stuck in place,
With nobody to race-

With new sights and sounds.
But I'm still here,
A child who couldn't disappear.

I played with your toys,
Went outside with joy.
But you are an adult,
Something i couldn't avoid.
Instead there are chores,
You're always so bored.
You never seem to be happy,
Without an influence of some sort.
I'm still here,
When life brings you to tears.
A child in the darkness,
Untill the light appears.
You don't need to help me,
I need to help you.
I can pick you up when you're feeling blue.
I'm only a child,
A fragment of you during the wild.
And I'll be here forever,
To take the pain away for awhile.
