A story of man,
a man different from other men,
a heart feeling for the lowly
with hands uplifting the feeble
a man whose heart was innocent,
and he was sold out for a few cents
a sad day it was,
as he was drugged across the streets,
his body badly bruised,
three times fell,as he headed to His judgement
not minding His innocence,
they whipped Him,
they spit on Him,
they mocked Him
On His tender hands,they put a nail
On His head,they put a crown
On his ribs they pierced
And He took it all, because of us all,
And he breathed His last....
But look!
It wasn't for long,
for on the third day He woke up strong!
Up from the grave he rose,
And forever he reigns
