At the house on the corner
Lived a man names Stan
People called him Wonder
Coz he always had a plan
He was a jack of all trades
And quite good at debates
His bills was paid on time
He never paid for a crime
Kids teased him "Birdy"
Coz he was always early
He was a quiet old man
Who lived with Mrs Stan
At the house at he corner
They bid farewell to Stan
He'll will lay six feet under
You won't see him again
But I will remember Stan
And talk of him now and then
He was good holding his own
Now Mrs Stan will be alone
