A man’s silence ain’t weakness,
it’s strategy.
He carries storms alone because he knows if he lets the thunder out,
the ground beneath her feet might start to shake.

She says, "it's okay love, tell me everything."
But when he does, her eyes change.
Not with malice, but with that quiet fear that whispers..."If he’s afraid, how is he going to deal with me?"

So he swallows it.
Not because he’s stone, but because he’s shield.
Not because he doesn’t trust her love, but because he knows her heart was built to receive warmth, not hold the weight of war.

This is why men break in silence.
Not at work.
Not on the battlefield.
But in bedrooms where words
get buried under smiles.

Still, a man must find a place
to empty his soul, or else it will drown him.
If not in her arms, then in the brotherhood of men, in the stillness of prayer, in the pages of his own reflections.

For silence protects,
but too much silence kills.
And the strongest man
is not the one who hides his fear,
but the one who masters it,
channels it,
and still leads forward.
