Through thin, whispy clouds
The swallow bird ducks and dives
Pink cirrus
Orange nimbus dot the
Blood red sky
Riding the gentle breeze
She swiftly turns
Flips and summersaults
Nimbly catching her dinner
Her stomach full,
Nest in sight
Loud, hungry Cries
Fall on her ears
Overgrown chicks scream
Demanding the food she
Worked so hard to get
Stomach empty
She leaves them
Flying off
Into the starfilled
Night
Silently parting with them
Forever
