I am the piece from every puzzle,
From diverse artifacts
The journey of Africa,
is borne on my face
The fears of her past
I carry on my face,
I long for unity,
I long for peace,
Yet I found none,
but a broken pieces
of cultures and traditions,
laws and imposition
We were never enslaved,
by the chains on our necks,
legs and the plumpy seal on our chest, but our destruction,
planted during harvest.
