As I pray...
Please Lord forgive me, didn't quite give it all I had, left you so disappointed, my family all so sad. If I could do it all over, knowing me I'd do the same, to see pictures of my family, me, I was left out the frame.
I pray to be a better father, between you and I, a son too, as you are the shepherd in this life, this black sheep was sent to you. As on my knees here in darkness, spilling my sins as you mend.
As again starting over, looking to you cause times gotten rough, leaning on you from here on out, cause this insanity is enough. As I pray, then I see, who can you trust in this light, as I find a hole supporting no rope, not a soul to help you fight.
You said, nomore than you can bear, weight here is like a ton, on your back a cross was carried, as I shelter the forever hearing graceful one.
Here I am Lord, please add ointment to this soul, no darkness to carry with me, seeing the golden roads. For I see you've cleansed my heart, the world I'd love to tell, it's all just a Choice in life, pleading prayer from a cell. ©️KyleLe
