A private school 🏫 Teacher
(a poem)
I am a private school teacher !
always expected by my
Students to have all the answers
Just like google or oracle
who is watching the world
Like a voracious reader !
When students in the
morning assembly stand in a row
I resemble a dictator like leader!
When i conduct the prayer
my gestures resembles
a peaceful religious preacher!
when people call me sir
I get embarrassed
and tense going within much deeper!
these titles were abolished long ago
nor I am a Nobel Laureate
Is it mockery or admiration
this realization make me
Sick with fever 🤒!
With my meagre income
Worried with expenses
Of bills
I always watch petrol
and electricity metre!
with all my tensions
I am expected to be smiling
and cool 😎 like a deep freezer!
my patience is always on a test
by students, parents and management
like a tester testing the
Current of a red hot heater!
I am different
With perfect manner
Like an alien 👽 creature!
Wearing emaculate formals
always polite with a smile ☺
Is my distinct feature!
I only posses the
Single two wheeler!
rarely are the examples
Of my species
Ever possessing four wheeler!
Easily i get threatened
With the fear 😱 of losing job
When I see the long queue
of new job seekers!
But i still command
the respect like
any great leader!
because without my effort
You all cannot produce
a future doctor, scientist,entrepreneur
Whomsoever either!
