Sitting at the corner holding my knees
Looking around only to see darkness
But I smiled to the world
I laughed out loud;so what went wrong?
Where is the phrase that says;
The world is like a mirror
Why did the world not smile back at me?
Nobody cared,it is now me , myself and I
But the darkness is too much
The silence is unbearable
How will I stand on my feet and fight for me?
Am l really alone , am l really a desert
Then there he came
Stretched out His hand to me
At first I was scared
He spoke a word to me "come"
His voice pierced the darkness
I uttered "who are you" and He smiled
"I am He who heard your cry l am the king"
How could a king come to my rescue?
He said "come, let me make a princess"
And there l new it was Him
I took His hand , wiped my tears
I said "Jesus, l am yours"
Now my sufferings are over
My tittle changed because "I am a royalty"
