I

A SMOULDERING LOVE

Many a weary day and night ;
I feel the breeze untwining my heart and brain;
Branded by beauty in hypnotic grimoire;
Thine, love with her soul on my lips ;it ended!
In hushed! feelings torn to shroud;
Chasing fireflies and embracing my dark sides
Love turn old and weak in fragile mess,
Warm days shorter, now end of love
And now things seem only one
Tis thou love, now fled away
Feelings! Like dust in the wind
It's not love its infatuation,
My mind a jumbled mess
For all I see has lost its zest .
Lost in deep caliginosity of sepulchre,
And now I dwell in pistanthrophobia of philophobia !
