We cherrished our bonds,
Loved our freedom,
We still feel we are free,
But caged in the vibrations.
We still cherrish our relations,
But what we've built with the phones.
Be it the ugly face of poverty,
Or the generous deed of charity.
Be it a tale of other's failure,
Or the proud story of what we procure.
Be it a new life that has arrived,
Or a soul, of life, which got deprived,
Every minute detail, which we have,
Behind the glossy screens we save.
The productive fingers that once ran on computer,
On the touch screens of cells, search for their bright future.
A strange kind of prison man has designed,
He pays his hard-earned money, for a cage, to bind.
The bonds of love & bonds of blood, sweet,
Stare at phones ,saddened at their defeat.
