A Vain Hope

That the 'Midwinter Nightmare' we are living in-
cruelty has surrounded the mankind, love is lost from everywhere, - hearts are stony, men are machine,
where life is a 'Wasteland', everytime we are struggling to live, fighting constantly to save ourselves from suffocation.
Faith is replaced by constant hatred and cruelty , where 'Metamorphoses' is the only way to bring us from 'Heart of Darkness'.
Like Christ, people so need a 'Secret Sharer' to find a way out of this hellish confinement.
But if it leads to 'Waiting For Godot'? only solution- 'Murder In...'.
I, a lonely soul, stand on the 'Dover Beach'.
Frustration grips me tight, 'Things Fall Apart'.
Restless I seek for air.
My mind rushes 'To The Lighthouse',I do stretch myself, close my eyes.
It seems all 'the Fragments' of restless thoughts and emotions compile themselves into me.
The fiery version of me sparks, I 'Look Back in Anger',
when the whole world fights in rage, I travel to 'Tintern Abbey'.
On the bank of Wye, I do find the sollitude, the peace, the eternal medicine to cure the mankind.
But the world is deaf, blind,- indulges in bloodshed.
May be my hope of harmony is just a 'Midsummer Night's Dream'.
'Sailing to Byzantium' metaphorically brings me that solace again.
Standing 'At the Bay' I asks myself-
" Do I dare disturb the Universe?"
