A WADE THROUGH LANES OF BLOOD

A forlon stroll in the middle of a night
Deep through the thicket with no light
Jaded steps took I with fright
For the rest was still out of sight
Back turned I to read my story
From the ground that I floundered weary
The only figure saw I ,clearly,
Was the dying me none bothered to carry
No foot prints of mine, far or near,
Just a longish trail of blood and tear
From the sheared body of someone dear_
The wrecked me before i reached here
No change since the start,
Hurting inside and falling apart
Limping akin to a wounded hart
In the battle, killed I, a part of my heart
still walking , ask me not why
For before the rains, face we, the dry
With hope of someone attending my cry
Someone to love me before I die
Though my memoir lacks meadow walks
A million demons at my door knock
Breeding guts will I lug the spark
For death ain't my lane to park
