A Woman Of Great Sorrow

She woke up with her hands and feet tight to a chair,
A room painted with dark colours and dark emitting air,
Surrounded by nothing;no sound,no sun,no signs of life and freedom was there!
She threw her eyes downwards and her thoughts backwards cast,
She saw the potential of the life she had in the past
And for eternity was she willing to return back into dust?
Long she dwelt in darkness and pain
And her dreams were to see her shadow once again
Her redemptive hopes were thrust into ground
And never thought freedom would come around.
With her spirit resting in darkness
And her inflicted mind portraying deadness
Her body being swallowed by hopelessness
Her life could mean no less than a game of the gods
With no odds of redemption!
As she beheld the dark spaces before her eyes
Amused by the nothingness and yet feelings of coldness as of ice
She began to smile
As the voids began to make sense in her mind and for a while
She had acquainted herself with the shadows
And dreamed of freedom no more
And for eternity her soul shall be lifted
from that floor no more!
