The mother's screams echoed across the sky
The anguish, the pain, the betrayal she felt
Centuries of pain portrayed in her screams
Suddenly a pause
Silence all over
Her tears fell faster onto man below
Her screams grew more fierce and pain-filled
Man's knees trembled
His head bowed in shame and fear as he heard the pain, the wrath
The sorrow of a mother
The same mother they had enslaved for millenia
They took away her children
They took away her pride and joy
They used and abused her till there was nothing left
And still she fought at times like these
Times when she had strength to fight
Man shivered in fear
He could feel the anger
Rolling off her in waves
Sense the bloodlust directed towards him
Hear the agony in her screams
As she fought
For her children they murdered in cold blood
And the children they continued to murder now
Her screams lit up the sky
Bringing to light the damage man had wrought
The scars they had left on her skin
And the open wounds they had inflicted
They had meant to break her
To destroy her
Yet she was too powerful and they could only restrain her
For they could not stop her wrath
Could not stop her as she wiped entire cities and nations
And still it would not sate her
She would not stop nor be satisfied till the day
They were all driven out of her home
