A world we once knew
When we were allowed to hug each other
When we could kiss and hold the ones we love
When we reget all of the "should ofs"
And the moments we thought we were dreaming of
When we were dancing with our friends, then just like that..
We didn't know that we would get any of those moments back
So unaware how precious this time we had would be
When we were free
And we could go to any place we liked
Whether it was on a train, or a plane or just on our bikes
When we could fly away to sit in the sun and distress for a while
When we heard more laughter and felt more joy
When we found it good to smile
When we didn't realise that those small worries would soon become our last
When we think about these memories
When we think about the past
Now all we do is focus on the things that we have got
We may not have the world we knew but with love, we have a lot.
We can only keep on going and believe that one thing remains true.
That some day we will all be back
To the world that we once knew ❤
