A WRITING TIP✍️
A writer does not need a validation from anyone to be considered as a writer.
It is naturally occurring.
It is normal, as how anyone can talk. But it is important for you to know that everyone can criticize your work as how someone can criticize your accent.
However, whatever they say consider it as a mirror for you to know where your ends meet. It can help you to improve that part of you.
We are afraid that someone will criticize us in public, that perhaps someone will see it and doubt us.
It can kill your ego. It can kill your enthusiasm.
Tip:
Do not write for people to see you.
Write because you want people to see.
Making people see you. vs. Making people see.
Check the difference.
For criticisms, when you will accept it as a challenge it is really positive in your side. They are just giving you the favor to lift you up from that level you are on.
At the end you will be grateful for the critiques, that it made you improve from a jeje and emoji dotted writing into a better, grammatically, and technically correct piece.
Do not be afraid to show your works. Do not be afraid to be criticized. Do not be afraid to improve.
Do not just be a frustrated writer, do not just be an amateur writer. Claim it, improve yourself, be the writer you are.
