R

absent dad but in my father's hand

where are you,
I cried, cause I skinned my knee.
scouring the streets looking for my skin.
as my DNA syringes out my growing vessel.
I cry out,
searching inside out.
you wasn't there for me, to share with me.
all the things a man is supposed to be.
I wondered about my sexuality.
so, much femininity raising masculinity,
so, I'm controlling the will of the sin me.
I pulled myself together.
growing, in age.
surprisingly finding the word, that pieces myself together.
this weight is as heavy as the burdens I bear, a bag full of stones.
to stop the absence of the gaping hole,
your negligence.
became heaven sent.
and a better sense of evidence.
have a father that I have never met.
he was there for me secretly,
teach me all the lesson I never knew.
he knew me before you knew me.
he counted the hairs on my head.
he sent my brother, to his everlasting life.
whenever I needed you, you was always there.
my father my king the one, no father, no dad can compare.
