pain in her heart,
she trembled in fair,
please dont come home drunk again,
she prayed and begged god.
with bloodshot eyes,
he stagered through the doorway,
"woman way is my food",
he sat at the table ,
The devil playing with his mind.
she gave him his food,
he looked at her,
"This is what you call food",
he threw the plate at her.
he held her by the neck,
she is begging,
as his fist hit her lips,
the blood kept coming,
her tears was even blood,
she is screaming,
the kids run out ,
"Daddy please dont hit mummy"
but the devil inside doesnt hear,
she is screaming for her life,
nobody is there to save her.
when he is done ,
he goes to sleep,
she is left motionless on the floor,
the kids keep trying to wake her up,
but she isnt moving.
her lifeless body stretched out on the floor,
daddy hurt mummy,
mummy is no more ,
the children left motherless and fatherless.
