life isn't what as it seems we think it would be,
the constant changing ways of society keeps us on our toes,
just when we think things will slow down and let us catch our breath,
BAM! life throws us game changing twist to mess things up once again,
the constant feeling of hanging on to everything we have closer than before,
what use to be calm and collected and seems to be taking us places stops at a screeching hault,
leaving us hanging on by a single thread,
it is when we choose to say it won't stop us from getting to where we belong in life,
it's when we get back up after being knocked down by the harsh reality of things that we dust ourselves off and take a run at it again,
it's when no matter what life, society, or the people who are trying to keep you down in the gutters finally realize and see that no matter what they do or think they could do to crush our spirits and souls to where we no longer resist them or we start to believe that we're no good anymore,
the day they think they won by extinguishing our lights within,
that's when we strike back and fight our hardest,
the day that being yourself is good enough for everyone,
to no longer hide behind masks, or lie about being happy and content with what you are doing when deep inside you wish you were doing what you love,
the day in which who, what, where, and when you are you and are happy because your free of judgement and anything else that kept you down and in the dark is gone and your happy with yourself and you don't care about impressing anyone else,
the day you accept yourself and whatever is to happen is going to happen no matter what you do that you'll deal with it as best as you can when it comes,
that's the day acceptance is shown, acceptance will be known,
