When life takes a turn for the worse,
things feel like they were never this dire.
The realisation that your plan didn't work,
Makes you feel the pitch black despair.
And then times flies by,
And it either gets better or you get used to it.
Later you realize that almost everyone has
been through the same thing.
Makes you realize how screwed up everyone else is.
But it really makes you respect your elders,
Cause you realize they have made it through much worse.
It gives you hope to see that time either heals,
Or numbs you enough to laugh at a later date.
