In our court of law,
A witness holds great account.
Then why are God's witnesses questioned,
When there's such a great amount?
Witnesses from every background, Every nation and race,
Documented throughout every generation,
Professing God's devine grace.
If all of God's witnesses lined up,
From since time did begin.
How wide or long would they be?
Would we all be accredited then?
Those who contain an unbeliever's pride,
Let it drag them from the truth.
They work so hard to prove their point,
They lead astray our youth.
They stand in front of a judge,
Speaking with words of acrimony.
Unaware our judge stands with us,
Giving us a testimony.
Blind to the fact He is everyone's judge, Standing with us through every trial.
He keeps record of the good we choose,
And, documents every denial.
God gives positions of authority.
Granted by His plan and power,
We're all held accountable through Him,
We are all as a fading flower.
Time is surely short,
And, at times, bitter sweet.
Life or death lasts forever,
Whatever you choose, you'll meet.
